Introduction:

During the recent years, Microsoft has decided to enter the digital photo editing market. This market is saturated with high quality products from companies such as Adobe and ACD Systems and their software is aimed at users with knowledge levels starting from novice to expert. With this in mind, Microsoft recognized the needs of users with little or intermediate knowledge of digital image manipulation and produced a software package that will let those users to easily import, edit and organize their photo collections.
Products such as this are not uncommon. Manufacturers of digital cameras bundle software of similar capabilities with their product. Microsoft has gone a bit farther with Digital Image Suite 10 introducing users to almost professional software features.
